Representatives from Iris House will present on the Build Up (BU) Program, a culturally affirming initiative designed to meet the essential health, behavioral, and housing needs of LGBTQ+ individuals of color, with a particular focus on Black/African American and Latinx gay/bisexual men (MSM) and transgender women in Central/East Harlem and the South Bronx. Services include educational wellness workshops, healthy eating sessions, housing workshops, a weekly peer support group, navigation services, HIV/STI prevention, and community referrals.
