What We Do

Founded in New York City in 1978, SAGEServes offers innovative services and programs to LGBTQ+ elders throughout New York and through replicated programs in Florida. These include specialize programming for homebound elders, LGBTQ+ veterans, caregivers, and older people living with HIV/AIDS.

Our SAGE Centers offer a diverse selection of virtual and in-person social activities and programs, and our Care Management Team provides holistic coordinated care for LGBTQ+ elders and those who care for them.

Building off our NYC roots, we have expanded two programs into Southern Florida. SAGE Miami Services for LGBTQ+ Elders provides social and financial relief programs to LGBTQ+ elders in Miami-Dade County. In Fort Lauderdale, SAGEServes runs a Friendly Visiting program that offers social support to homebound elders through weekly visits and calls by volunteers.

SAGE Centers

SAGE helps older LGBTQ+ people live longer, happier, healthier lives by offering meals, classes, and much more at our SAGE Centers across NYC.

Care Management

SAGEServes’ Care Management teams offers LGBTQ+ elders and caregivers access to LGBTQ+ affirming support and programs.
