SAGE Positive

An estimated 50% of people living with HIV in the United States are elders over the age of 50, and that same age group accounts for 17% of new HIV diagnoses every year. With support and resources, elders living with HIV can continue to age with grace.

Our Services

Our NY-based SAGEPositive program is uniquely positioned to help LGBTQ+ elders living with HIV get the resources they need.

In addition to having extensive knowledge on NY-based services and resources for elders, SAGEPositive offers the following services:

  • Support groups
  • Sexual wellness workshops
  • Social events
  • Friendly Visiting
  • HIV and STI testing
  • PrEP seminars
  • Case management
  • Educational forums

Knowing your status gives you powerful information to keep you and your potential partners healthy.

SAGEPositive can refer you to places across New York State where you can be tested for HIV and STIs (sexually transmitted infections).
