SAGEServes is a division of SAGE, the world’s largest organization dedicated to advocacy, services and innovations for LGBTQ+ elders. We provide high quality, inclusive programs and services for LGBTQ+ elders.
Spurred by the Stonewall uprising 40 years ago, SAGE was created by loving, caring activists in order to serve our pioneers. These are the roots from which we continue to grow. SAGEServes creates ever-growing opportunities to serve our community’s older people and support their unique needs.
We Refuse to be Invisible
SAGEServes ensures that every LGBTQ+ elder has the opportunity to age how they choose, no matter who they are. To age with dignity and possibility—on their own terms. SAGEServes enables LGBTQ+ elders to live as their full and best selves surrounded by joy.

Loving, Caring Activists
Today, SAGE advocates with and on behalf of LGBTQ+ elders nationwide. We operate five bustling, activity-filled SAGE Centers in New York City, and our affiliate network programs events and services throughout the U.S. that are specifically geared toward the older LGBTQ+ community. We’ve built affordable LGBTQ-welcoming housing in NYC, and we’ve trained over 100,000 care providers across the U.S. on how to best meet the needs of the nation’s large and growing LGBTQ+ elder population.

Our SAGE Centers offer a diverse selection of virtual and in-person social activities and programs, and our Care Management Team provides holistic coordinated care for LGBTQ+ elders and those who care for them.
